We totally understand when life doesn’t always go according to plan. Due to the high demand for our facility and our limited availability, please review our cancellation policies (effective August 1, 2024). All policies are subject to change.

RETREATS

All retreats (as well as retreats under the Burrow guarantee) are scheduled ahead of time. If you must postpone or cancel, you must inform us 7 days in advance so that we may offer your reservation to another family. Failure to cancel in a timely manner will result in a forfeit of your deposit. Failure to postpone in a timely manner will result in a $100 reschedule fee and your rabbits will be placed at the end of the waitlist. Exceptions may apply for sick rabbits (must provide veterinarian’s note to avoid additional fees).

We reserve the right to postpone and reschedule any retreats scheduled due to rabbit (or human) illness, emergencies, and/or any other instances, including and not limited to acts of the universe. 

STAYCATIONS

Please keep in mind when making a reservation, we are holding your pet/s’ space pending your arrival. When we reach our full capacity for reservations, we have to refuse reservation requests and turn business away. If you do not cancel your reservation in a timely manner, we may be unable to re-book the space reserved for your pet/s. 

We require a minimum of 7 days notice on cancellations or changes to a reservation during peak season (as defined by the Bun Chia Burrow) and a minimum of 72 hours notice during non-peak season. Failure to cancel a reservation before the 72 hr to week time frame will result in a forfeit of partial or full deposit. 

• If your reservation is during a peak season: Canceling this reservation with less than 7 days notice will result in forfeiting the entirety of your deposit. 

• Peak periods 2024: August 30-September 2, 2024; November 26-December 2, 2024; December 20, 2024-January 5, 2025

• Peak periods 2025: January 1-January 5, 2025; February 13-February 18, 2025; April 13-April 26, 2025; May 22-May 27, 2025; June 1-September 2, 2025; November 25-December 1, 2025; December 20-January 4, 2026

• If your reservation is during a non-peak season: Canceling this reservation with less than 72 hours notice will result in forfeiting 50% of your deposit.

SPA DAYS + IN - PERSON/VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS 

Spa days and in-person/virtual consultations share the same appointment slots - when appointments are made, we have to refuse other requests and turn business away. All cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the appointment. Failure to cancel your appointment before the 72 hour will result in a forfeit of your deposit.

We reserve the right to reschedule any appointments scheduled due to rabbit (or human) illness, emergencies, and/or any other instances, including and not limited to acts of the universe.
